Ace Fashion designer Yomi Casual is in the news not for his very creative fashion designs but for his reaction on these kid beggars. Fans are attacking him for posting a video showing kids begging him for money and his reply on social media.
The Fashion designer whose real name is Omoniyi Makun had his fans divided. Those for him and those against him. I think what aggravated the issue was his caption, ‘I wish these kids and their parents knows we also have our problems’ with a monkey face covering his ear.
A couple of his fans like those below felt he should have still giving them money.
@iam_leeldoffixial That’s not right. God provides for you so that you can also provide for the less privileged. See Mr man eat your money to yourself and don’t forget you will die one day. Who ever thought that Ngozi okonjo iweala would make it was she not also on the street. In fact can you compare your problem to theirs. You have a car, house, a good but do they have. See man am really mad at you.
@victorejaye Bros, I understand your frustration o but it is still more blessed to give than to receive tho…just imagine say that pikin know ur brand (yomicausal) and wld want to be like u in future..na falling hand be that o…When ever we have an opportunity to give let’s remember that we make a life by what we give..it doesn’t matter whether it’s in cash or kind…
Those that felt what he did was ok
@peacec47Sometimes…how I wish they understands @yomicasual …haters…he just expressed his inner feelings….jump and pass if u don’t like it…his timeline anyway

@bukkyrayYomi you don’t need to explain to this frustrated people, you all should go and Google what intergram is all about before opening account, you post your daily life…tupe I still don’t understand why u haven’t block some people from ur page..those of you saying he should delete the post,I dare you to delete your self from his page if you can.Hisssssssssssss
Here is Yomi Casual’s reply to those that were insulting him and clearly said they were against what he did.
i understand how Yomi Casual feels. I have been in such situation especially in Lagos and with those Lebanese kids that will hug your hands tight until you pay your street tax. You give one and the rest are all over you. Sometimes you might not be in the mood for the distractions but again its not a place for social media. I will like to know your thoughts. Do you think what he did was not bad?
