Wizkid to sign a deal with Sony BMG

It seems like Nigerian top artists are all migrating to foriegn record labels. There are rumors that Wizkid will be signed by a foriegn record label in a few weeks. Just this year alone Davido joined Song BMG. Tiwa Savage also signed on to RocNation. The rumour on Wizkid is that the label is the same Sony BMG that sign Davido. A source close to the singer said, “Wizkid’s new deal with Sony is a done deal, the News should be out in a couple of days,” . He also claims Davido will be in the same New York office on the day of the announcement.

Let’s hope the rumours are true because the singer have been putting alot of effort to sell his brand out there. It will serve as an inspiration to upcoming acts.
