Tonto Dikeh pulled a gun on her husband – This Ghanaian Crime Officer’s interview shows the actress might have lied
In a recent interview Tonto Dikeh recently granted to Nigerian media personality, Azuka Ogujiuba, the actress was seen weeping as she spoke about her failed marriage to her estranged husband, Oladunni Olakunle Churchill, and painted a picture of how she had suffered a lot of domestic violence from him.
Specifically, she gave an account of how she had to run, naked, to the Nigerian embassy for refuge in Accra, Ghana, after a violence in Churchill’s house, However, subsequent checks by Joy News’ MzGee, has revealed something to the contrary.
The Crime Officer in charge of the Madina-Kwabenya district in Accra, Supt. Joseph Oppong, tells MzGee that on June 9, 2015, Churchill lodged a complaint against the actress for vandalising his Trassaco home in Accra.
According to Churchill’s statement to the police, a drunk Tonto Dikeh went violent after seeing some of his female relatives and thought he was cheating. He also claimed he had a gun with her, which the officer confirmed. The properties destroyed was valued at about $20,000.
