Today Three young Nigerians will be honoured by Queen Elizabeth
It’s been said that Nigerians are exceptional people and we have a very high survival instinct. Some of my friends have joked that if you place a Nigerian in the mid of the desert. In the next few month he will still be very successful. We can argue about this but everyday young Nigerians across the world keep proving that I am not far from the truth.
Three exceptional young Nigerians just increased my growing list to prove the above statement. They will be presented the Queen’s Young Leaders Award today in England.
Last year the award was given to 60 young people from 35 countries and four Nigerians made the list. Their names are Isaiah Owolabi, Kelvin Ogholi, Nkechikwu Azinge and Oladipupo Ajiroba. This year the award will be given to young people from 45 different commonwealth countries and three Nigerians made the list. They will be honoured at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, London.
The names of the Nigerian winners are Olanrewaju Adeloye, Imrana Alhaji Buba, and Olumide Femi Makanjuola.
