REPORT : ARSENAL AGREE LOAN DEAL FOR GOALKEEPER
A deal has reportedly been agreed between Arsenal and Roma.
Having returned to Arsenal following the end of the loan, it was thought that Szczesny was back for good at the Emirates Stadium, with the Guardian reporting that talks between Roma and Arsenal had stalled over renewing the deal.
However, it now seems that Szczesny will again be a temporary Roman for the new season, with Arsenal and Roma agreeing to split his £2.5 million per-year salary.
The Gunners also stand to net £800,000 as a fee for the loan renewal and Roma will have the option to make the move permanent, with a reported clause of £12.5 million included in the agreement.
