The All Progressive Congress (APC) has been declared the winner of Osun State governorship supplementary poll held on Thursday.
In the inconclusive election held Saturday, Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) scored 254,698 votes to beat his APC rival, Gboyega Oyetola, who polled 254,345 votes.
The electoral commission, however, declared the election inconclusive because the margin of 353 votes between the two leading parties, PDP and APC, was less than the number of canceled votes (3,498) in seven polling units where results were canceled across four local governments.
After the rerun election was conducted and the INEC Annouced the APC candidate Gboyega Oyetola the winner. The Former President Aide, Reno Omokri took to his twiter handle to react about the outcome of the election.
The Osun rerun election confirmed President @MBuhari as the Lord of the Rig! The conduct of the rerun only proves that dictators may grow old, but they never grow into democrats. Our PVCs have turned from Permanent Voters Card to Permanent Voters Con. Wither 2019! #RenosDarts
