Five young undergraduate from two Nigerian universities have been apprehended by the EFCC. They were picked up at an off campus residence located at Stateline Hotel Road, off FUTA South Gate, Akure, Ondo State. According to the Ibadan EFCC Zone these five students had stolen a shocking sum of 16 million Naira from unsuspecting foreigners recently. Only God knows how much they had collected cumulatively since they started business. four of the students are from FUTA (Federal University of Technology Akure) and one from Adekunle Ajashin University, Akungba.
The suspect go by the names “Tsunnami Gang and Young Pablo Money”. There names and ages are Adeleke Paul, 21, Adebiyi Tayo Abudu, 22, Akinsanmi Olusola Adeniyi 21, Ogundile Ademola James, 23 and Okali Ugochukwu, 21.
At the place of arrest the EFCC recovered 2006 black Toyota Highlander, 2010 light-green Toyota Camry, laptops, three Apple iPhone 6 and three Blackberry phones from them. They also found implicating documents in their laptops and will be arraigned in court when investigation is complete.
