Omoni Oboli is set to hit the Cinemas come December 29 with the sequel to her 2016 Box office hit “Wives on Strike”
The actress, writer, producer and director, Omoni Oboli is set to return to cinemas this year with a sequel to Wives on Strike. This is titled Wives on Strike: The Revolution.
“Wives on Strike: The Revolution” will be released in Nigerian cinema on December 29 making it the second movie she would be releasing in this year after the release of Okafor’s Law earlier this year.
“Wives on Strike” told the tale of a group of market women who decided to take matters into their own hands against their husbands in a bid to stir them into standing up for a young girl whom they wanted to protect from the wishes of her own father.
Wives on Strike: The Revolution movie from what we’ve gathered follows these market women fighting against domestic violence after one of them was beaten to death by her husband. This leads to yet another strike by the women against their husbands forcing their hands to stand up for what is right.
Wives on Strike: The Revolution stars Omoni Oboli, Ufuoma McDermott, Uche Jombo, Toyin Abraham, Sola Sobowale, Chioma Akpotha, Julius Agwu, Odunlade Adekola, Kenneth Okonkwo and a host of others , Wives on Strike: The Revolution promises double the laughter of its first installment
Omoni Oboli has actually had an active 2017, Wives on Strike: The Revolution would be the second movie she is releasing this year as a producer. Her other works as an actress in the year include Okafor’s Law, Fifty: The series, My Wife and I, and The Women.
