Nollywood just flipped the Script: We are having a Crime Drama!!

We are about to have a crime drama FAM! Just incase you missed this last year, Jungle Film works has a crime drama in the works, CrossRoads. Production on this film was between the months of July and August 2017, and so we suspected that the movie would be hitting the cinemas sometime this year. A trailer has just been released confirming our suspicions.Other than the fact that this movie is star studded and the trailer alone riveting, the storyline is enough fascination to get cinema halls filled up.

Here it is:

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kilanko, gets a call from State Police HQ informing him that the young and gorgeous wife of Senator Bamisaiye, Temi, has just been robbed.

Along with his assistant, Superintendent Dare, Kilanko heads over to the Senator’s house to take a statement from the victim.

It isn’t long before the four male suspects are nabbed and arrested. The four detainees all proclaim their innocence to deaf ears.

Individually, they are questioned by Kilanko. When Temi identifies her stolen property, it seems that this is a classic open and shut case.

However Kilanko’s police gut instinct is not buying the guilty verdict placed on the four detainees. He decides to pursue an alternative line of investigation, which leads him on a collision course with his successor, the high-flying and ultra-ambitious Chief Superintendent Dare, who believes that Kilanko is old-school, an archaic dinosaur who should have long been put out to pasture.

With Kilanko’s retirement fast-approaching and the politics of police operation restricting him, he has little time to crack this last case and save the four prisoners, whom he perceives as being innocent until proven guilty.

CrossRoads was directed by Seyi Siwoku and stars Richard More Damijo, Gideon Okeke, Damilola Adegbite, Kehinde Bankole, Kachi Nnochiri, Paul Utomi, Seun Akindele, Frank Donga, Funky Mallam, Somadina Ayanma and Etim Effiong.
