How Nigerian player, Emenike triggered his own racist attack, now facing ban
Fenerbahce forward Emmanuel Emenike risks being banned from Sunday’s crunch clash against Besiktas after he was spotted by cameras allegedly insulting an opponent, Ali Yacoubi – Tunisia international, in last weekend’s 2-1 win over Rizespor in the Turkish League.
Emenike was spotted by cameras during the game covering his nose and sniffing at Yacoubi in the closing stages of the nervy win. The 29 year old’s reaction has since prompted Rizespor fans calling on the Turkish Super Lig to ban him from featuring against Besitkas this weekend. The incident was what prompted fans to storm his page to call him a monkey.
