JUST IN: INEC Declares Osun State Governorship Election Inconclusive


The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has declared Osun State Governorship election inconclusive.

According to the Returning Officer, the number of canceled votes is higher than the margin between the two leading parties.

The Returning Officer has said there will be need for second ballot to decide winner for the election.


PDP candidate, Senator Ademola Adeleke scored 254,698votes while his APC counterpart, Gboyega Oyetola  scored 254,345 votes making the marging between them amount to353.

The margin was, however, less than the 3,498 votes that were cancelled during the poll.
