Glo Rounds Off Slide ‘n’ Bounce in Grand Style
The 18-event premium concert of the Next Generation Network, Globacom, the Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce, which began in Ibadan on August 28, will come to a close this weekend with two spectacular shows planned for Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, and Enugu, Enugu State.
The music concert has become the talk of town in the nation’s showbiz industry in the last three and half months, with thousands of Glo subscribers and other fun lovers turning up in all the cities where it was held to savour the rhythm of the music.
According to a statement by Globacom, “the Uyo edition of the show will be held at the Emerald Event Centre, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, on Thursday, December 17, with sensational music twins, PSquare, leading the trio of Sammie Okposo, Korede Bello and MI to entertain the company’s teeming subscribers in Uyo and environs who will be attending the show.”
“We have, in the last 16 weeks, been entertaining our subscribers across major cities of Nigeria with the Glo Slide ‘n’ Bounce concert. The feedback from our valued customers and other Nigerians, who had attended the show, has been quite fantastic. We want to sincerely appreciate all our subscribers, old and new, for their abiding faith in Globacom and to assure them that we shall continue to delight them. We hope that in the coming year, we will be able to do more to make the experience on the Glo network fun for everybody,” the statement added.
Globacom urged fun lovers in Uyo and Enugu to take advantage of the last set of shows “to experience world-class entertainment offered by the Slide ‘n’ Bounce concert which is unarguably the best music show in the country.”
From Ibadan, where the show kicked off on August 29, the ship berthed in locations such as Benin City, Port Harcourt, Victoria Island, Ikeja, Egbeda, Ikorodu and Surulere, all in Lagos, Ijebu Ode and Abeokuta in Ogun State, Awka in Anambra State, Anyigba in Kogi State, Makurdi in Benue State, Aba in Abia State and Owerri in Imo State.
