Fulani Herdsmen trouble again
Several houses were torched while hundreds of residents have deserted Ninte communities to nearby villages as a result of the attack.
Residents say the Fulani herdsmen invaded the communities in the early hours of Tuesday May 31 2016, shooting sporadically.
“We had an issue last Friday. A Fulani man was grazing on a farm that had already been cultivated. The youth of the area were angry. They chased the Fulani man out of the farm. There was a crisis but the Senator representing our area, Danjuma La’ah came and settled the dispute.”
“On Tuesday morning, several people invaded our communities with sophisticated weapons, killed two people and burnt several houses. As we speak, women and Children slept in an open while others have move to nearby communities for safety,” a resident, Frances Musa told Pulse.
The District head of the area has confirmed the incident but blamed it on Fulani herdsmen
