Check out The New Everton Manager (Full Details)

The Dutch coach takes over from Roberto Martinez at Goodison Park having previously led Southampton to two top-seven finishes in the Premier League

Everton have confirmed the appointment of Southampton boss Ronald Koeman as their new manager.

The Dutch coach has signed a three-year contract with the Toffees after leaving the south coast outfit following two years in charge.

Having joined the Saints in 2014, Koeman led them to a seventh-placed finish in his first season in charge before going one better in 2015-16 as he secured qualification for the Europa League group stages.

He now replaces Roberto Martinez, with the former Wigan Athletic boss having been sacked in May after leading the Goodison Park outfit to 11th in the Premier League and the worst home record in the club’s history.

And former Feyenoord and Valencia coach Koeman expressed his excitement at joining the Merseyside outfit.
