Next Leaders’ Summit Africa 2020 (virtual/ on ZOOM) to be held Aug. 28th-29th
Join the kick-start of OMLA – One Million Leaders Africa
Organizer: NELIS Africa (Next Leaders Initiative for Sustainability)
We are happy to announce the third African Next Leaders Summit, this time be held on ZOOM, August, 28th& 29th, starting 11:00 am WAT. We invite the press to join the entire conference and, in particular, to take part in online press conference on Day two (Aug. 29th). A tentative program is attached. After contacting us (below), a ZOOM link shall be sent.
This year, the Summit will be of special importance for two reasons:
1. More than 420 young leaders (below the age of 40) from around 35 African countries have presently registered to join the Summit. For the first time, NELIS Africa will be organizing a truly Pan-African Summit with hundreds of nexgen leaders passionate about sustainability, social innovation and social entrepreneurship. If it is possible for you to help with the pre-Summit publicity of the Summit, we would greatly appreciate this!
2. During the Summit, we will be launching OMLA – One Million Leaders Africa, a training and empowerment program which aims to train one million nexgen leaders across the continent by 2030. The focus of OMLA will be to equip a whole new generation of African leaders with skills in transformational leadership, sustainability, social innovation and social entrepreneurship to put Africa on a more livable and sustainable course for the future.
