Arsenal defender, Sead Kolasinac will miss eight to ten weeks with a knee injury, the Premier League club have announced on their official website earlier today.
The 25-year-old left-back was forced off during Wednesday’s pre-season match against Chelsea in Dublin in preparation of the new season.
Arsenal also confirmed midfielder, Aaron Ramsey, is struggling with tightness in his right calf, but is aiming to train next week.
With Sead Kolasinac unavailable, it seems certain that Nacho Monreal will be the club’s first choice left-back in the opening stages of the campaign.
Ainsley Maitland-Niles will also provide cover at left-back if required.
